SAY ABOUT US
During this pandemic we have relied on the Maya Bistro as our go to for takeout. As always the food is hot and delicious. One time when our son made the pick up and forgot his wallet the owner said just take the food it’s my treat of course we sent them back with the money. Well the idea is this is a family run shop and they are good good people who work hard. I think if you could support them during this difficult time it would be much appreciated!
This place is sheer delight! A friend and I are always looking for a new place to try. They had an interesting menu so decided to give it a try. The food was colorful and and well presented even in the take out containers that we are all growing accustomed to.
Pick up was through their side door. It was quick and cheerful.
We got the Maya Trio with hummus, baba ganoush and htipiti for starters followed by the mixed grill for two and Kunefe for dessert. All of it was fantastic. I will definitely be back!
Authentic Turkish family-run restaurant bursting with flavor. The synergy and close-knit family dynamic is truly impressive. Everyone pitches in from the siblings servers who double up as bartenders to the father in chief hosting and managing the restaurant, while the mom/aunts/uncles preserve their secret family recipes and pepper in the spices in the kitchen.
Check out this new spot! Came for dessert only–quick stop for tasty baklava and Turkish tea. Delish! The baklava is homemade! Tasty, crispy, light…absolutely perfect! Where else can you find homemade sweets in a restaurant?! When we inquired, they told us the baklava is made fresh by the owners wife! Incredible!
Service is warm and welcoming. This family run business is a sure winner. Friendly, happy to explain the dishes, and attentive.
Will be back soon!!!!
This is a nice small restaurant that’s family run where the parents are the chefs. The food is delicious here! They give you bread to start off, which was pretty soft. I ordered the Htipiti for appetizer, Lamb Chops for entree, and Kunefe for dessert.
Overall, the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional for a small family run restaurant. Would definitely return to try their other desserts that look amazing.
I had been once before today – dining in with a party of six, and we had an 18-star time! This time, due to Covid19, we did takeout – and it was spectacular all over again! First, logistically, they have the takeout handled very well – they have organized a “pick up window” at the side of the restaurant. The people (it’s a family business) were as wonderful as always. We just feasted in a grilled meet/veggie platter for four, plus a spinach flatbread, Maya Cigars and three of their app spreads. Every bite was delicious! The flavors are all great, and even in takeout, they still managed a lovely presentation. Cannot wait to return!
Clean & delicious! Best place to be during a time like this! Excellent menu! I recommend the maya mazze for 2 as a appetizer if you’re a fan for bread and spreads!
We wanted to try something new and ordered delivery. Everything was great. We enjoyed the flat bread, moussaka, calamari and zucchini cake. Baklava was yummy too. Looking forward to eating leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch already!
Lovely lunch sitting outside in perfect weather! Food is always excellent. Tables offer enough separation to feel comfortable
Couples night out with friends. Very accommodating from tasting wine to making excellent food recommendations. The entire staff was upbeat and smiling not like most restaurants. Being of middle eastern heritage the food was outstanding. Our table sampled several dishes. The portion were enough the fill my husband and to much for me! We would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return soon.
